Essential cookie
Upmonora uses an essential session cookie (upmonora_session) to keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and secure over HTTPS.
Analytics - only with your permission
The first time you use the site we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Your answer is stored in a cookie called um_consent (kept for 12 months) so we don't ask again. You can change it any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
If you accept, we set two first-party cookies: _umv (a random visitor ID, kept for up to 13 months) and _ums (a random session ID that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity). They let us see which pages and channels help people find Upmonora, time on page, device type, screen size, time zone and page-speed measurements.
If you choose essential only, or haven't decided yet, nothing is stored on your device. We still count visits in aggregate using a salted, daily-rotating hash of your IP address and browser, which cannot identify you or link your visits across days.
In both cases we work out an approximate location (country, region and city) from your IP address at the moment of your visit and then discard the address: the IP address itself is never stored. We also record where on a page a click happened and which button or link it was, never what you type into a form.
Analytics data stays on our own servers, is deleted after 13 months, and is never sold or shared with advertisers. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, analytics is switched off completely.
No advertising or third-party trackers
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers on this site. Fonts, scripts and images are served from our own domain.
Control
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice, clear cookies in your browser at any time (clearing the session cookie signs you out), or enable Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control to switch analytics off.
