This policy explains what personal data Upmonora ("we") processes when you use our website and monitoring service, and your rights.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, hashed password, timezone and plan.
- Monitoring configuration: the URLs you ask us to monitor and your alert settings.
- Monitoring results: status codes, response times, sizes and error messages. We do not store the content of monitored pages.
- Security logs: IP address and user agent for sign-ins and security-relevant actions.
- Website analytics: with our own first-party tool we record the pages you view, how you reached us, your device type, browser, screen size, language and time zone, page-speed measurements, and where on a page you click and which button or link it was (never what you type). We work out an approximate location (country, region and city) from your IP address at the time of your visit; the IP address itself is not stored. Your choices are explained in the Cookie Policy.

How we use data
To provide and secure the service, send alerts and account emails, prevent abuse, and improve Upmonora. We do not sell personal data.
AI features
Insights are computed from your monitoring data. If AI-written summaries are enabled, the relevant monitoring facts (not your account password or payment data) are sent to our AI provider solely to generate the summary.
Retention
Check history is kept according to your plan (e.g. 7 days on Free, 90 days on Starter, 1 year on Business). Deleting your account deletes your monitors and history. Website analytics are deleted after 13 months.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to certain processing. Contact us using the details on the contact page.
Security
Passwords are hashed, API tokens are stored as hashes, and the service uses TLS, CSRF protection and strict access controls.
Changes
We will post updates on this page and notify account holders of material changes.
